Malu Town, located in the middle of Jiading and adjacent to Shanghai International Auto City and F1 International Circuit, is the main town area of the new Jiading city in the near future.
　　As the 'South Portal' of the new Jiading city, Malu Town will make full use of the geographical, industrial and ecological environment advantages unique to it and act a qualified 'leading role' in the new city. Meanwhile, in consideration of the functional positioning of 'two central roads and four districts', Malu will develop itself into a new town integrates leisure, entertainment, ecology, industry and residence as a whole.
　　'Two Central Roads' refer to Huyi Road and Bao'an Road, which cross with each other within Malu Town and are the skeleton of Malu road system. 'Four Districts' refer to Malu Town Area, Jianbang Residential Area, Jiading Industrial Zone at municipal level and Reserved Area for Further Development.
　　Based on the two traffic trunks, Malu has scheduled to develop it tertiary industry with focuses on high-end hotels, entertainment and leisure, shopping and restaurants and offices, etc. The development of real estate sector will be further expanded in Malu Town and Jianbang Residential Area in hopes of attracting more people. Meanwhile, the function of education-specific park zone and ecologic and leisure zone in neighboring areas will be further completed. The major industrial park zones of Malu consist of Malu Hope Industrial Park Zone, Forward New & High Science & Technology Industrial Park Zone and Researched Zone for Further Development of Jiading Industrial Park Zone, located in the east side of Hujia Expressway, south of suburban rings.
