Shanghai Malu Metal Plating Co. Ltd. (formerly Malu Plating Factory) was founded in 1993 with three surface processing subsidiary enterprises. They are Shanghai Hope Metal Plating Co. Ltd. Shanghai Yihui Machinery Co. Ltd. and shanghai Yihua Plating Co. Ltd. and another one Shnaghai Malu Zinc Chromium Plating Co., Ltd. The company is now the biggest metal surface processing enterprise in east China region. Total assets amounts to RMB 80 million yuan, annual sales RMB460 million yuan, in which, sales from plated surface processing RMB120 million yuan. The company have been awarded many honorable titles as national Excellent Enterprise in Surface Processing Sector ‘1995 – 1996, 1997-1998, and Excellent Enterprise of Shanghai, Star Model enterprise of Jiading District and Civilized Unit of Jiading District.
　　The processing technology undertaken by all subsidiaries include zinc plating, no cyanide-zinc plating (including blue, white, color, black and army green), nickel, copper, chromium, tin, zinc-tin alloy, zinc-nickel alloy, hard chromium, phosphorization, magnalium alloy oxidizing and so on. The new plating processes with negative pole electrobath, quick hard chromium plating and dacromet high anti-corrosion as a typical one has reached the first-class level and formed certain scales. A new business operating pattern with all-round, multifunctional processing capability and technologies, solid, healthy and rapid in development with auto parts processing as the pillar business, supported by home appliances sector has taken shape. In compliance with international guidelines for environmental protection, zinc plating with trivalent chromium passivation process and chromium-free dacromet high anti-corrosion process have been adopted in the company.
